This news just makes me so sad to know that the world has evil people in it and we are not immuned from it. It's easy to take for granite the safe community that we live in, but we were reminded on Tuesday that bad people are every where. Our new beautiful chapel was broken into and vandalized. They came in an unlocked window and tracked in very muddy shoes and went from room to room leaving their mark. They went in the chapel and locked up the grand piano and took the key, they put the numbers 666 where the hymn numbers go, they filled up the bathroom sinks with paper towels and turned them all on, the left candy wrappers and garbage all over, and saddest of all, destroyed the piano in the primary room. The piano was a mechanical organ/piano that plays all the hymns by itself, very nice. Any way, I have just felt so bad about it. Sterling has been so vigilant to go over several times a week to check on the church and make sure it is clean and in good order, so he has been really bummed about it. Sad sad!

Number One in our eyes
Our little angel got 2nd place. Sterling thinks it was rigged, seriously who could be cuter. The theme was Boot Scooten Boogie, that's why she was dressed up like a little cowgirl. I couldn't get her to just look at me so I could get a real good picture of her, but believe me she was cute.
We had to go in at 11:30, which is nap time, then they called them up one by one and talked to them for a minute. Lindsey did real good while we were waiting, but wasn't real excited about me plopping her down on the counter to talk to these strange Grandma's when they called us up.
Any way it was fun, but I still think she is the cutest 15 month old in Eagle Mountain. She received a cute little gift bag with a bunch a baby stuff in it.

Summer Time
Oh summer time! We have been waiting a long time this year for some warm dry weather. The first warm spell that came through, we drug out the pool and had a lot of fun. Lindsey thought this was pretty fun. Our neighbor even brought over her hose that was hooked up to her warm water, so they thought they were in a heated pool.
These are our favorite things to do in the summer:
1. Spend lots of time in the back yard. We have loved having the grass in and the fence up so the kids can have fun back there. We recently got a trampoline from a friend and they kids have jumped their little hearts out. Mom still wants to build her awesome play house, if not this summer then next for sure.
2. Have lots of BB Q's with friends and family. We finished our little patio and love hanging out around the grill, what can I say, we like to eat.
3. Go camping or on four wheeler trips to Idaho. I know I know the rest of the family will say you need to go somewhere other than Idaho, we will I promise.
4. Going with Daddy to all of his teacher conferences. They are free vacations for our family. Daddy works and we play, sorry daddy, but thanks for taking us.
5. Lots and lots of walks, bike rides, and trips to the park. We finally have some new parks in around us and the kids have to go to all of them on our walks. We are going on some fun bike rides this summer, now that the kids are really good on their own bikes, we will put a face guard on Brayden this time.
6. Camping in the back yard and watching movies on the side of the house. We have nice warm nights in the summer for this fun activity.
7. Plenty of pool parties. It is wonderful to have so many fun kids in the neighborhood to play with, the kids love to have reason for a party to invite all their friends.
8. Trips to the library. The kids have their own cards and think it is wonderful to walk to the library to find a good book. Hailey is such a little reader we have to go often.
Summers are great. Mom worries she will have to keep the kids entertained, but they do a pretty good job of that themselves. Can't wait to see you all this summer and make some memories.

Hailey
My little Hailey, gosh I love this girl, she is my little helper and happy maker. She does so much to help me when I ask her to, she even puts up with her brother and his pestering. She is such a sweet heart and lover of all things Hannah Montana. She is almost finished with first grade and I can hardly believe how old she is getting. She is so smart and has improved so much this year in reading. I think it is those Hannah Montana books she just had to have. She is taking dance right now and is just loving it. It is a jazz class. Her recital is coming up in June. She has really enjoyed being involved in dance even when we make her show us all her new moves every week.
Hailey is a wonderful sister to her brother and little sister. Brayden wanted her to sleep in his room with him and I usually find her on the floor curled up in a ball, but this night I went in and found them all curled up next to each other. They can be such good friends, and occasionally enemies, but I love it when they have fun together. I wish I could keep her from growing up, but I also love to see her grow and blossom into such a sweet young girl.

Brayden
My little buddy Brayden. What can be said about this kid, he keeps his momma on her toes. His favorite activities are eating, pestering, yelling, running, jumping, throwing, dancing, and pestering, oh and eating. We love the kid. His freckles just make you want to grab him and kiss him all over. He really does have a tender side to him. He is a sweet brother who really does feel sorry every time he makes his sisters cry. He is always thinking. He told me the other day that he wants to be a daddy when he grows up. I thought that was really sweet and then he added because mom's just stay home and clean toilets. He also asked Sterling the other day if he needed a lesson in chewing with his mouth closed. He melts my heart when he crawls up on my lap and gives me a big hug and wet kiss.
Brayden is playing coach pitch baseball, and there is just nothing cuter then ten little 5 and 6 year olds trying to stay interested in the outfield. Brayden found a bug last week while in the out field and was thoroughly distracted. The ball went over his head and all his team mates ran by him while he still watched the bug crawl around in his mitt. Most of his team mates stopped back by him and had to be broken up by the coach to get back to the game. Brayden has also been known to chase another teams player off second base by trying to tickle him. He is a good little player. We love watching him and his facial expressions out there, especially when he struts to first base after a good hit. He is a great kid and we just love his guts!

Lindsey is a finalist
Our little cutie is a finalist in the Eagle Mountain Poney Express days baby contest. The winner gets to be in the parade and wins a prize. We find out on Tuesday the 27th so we'll keep you posted. Really who can resist those cheeks?
Lindsey has been such a sweet little girl. Her personality is really shining through. I can't believe she is 15 months already. She follows her brother around all day and gets into trouble with him. She likes to pull funny faces and dance around to anything that is even close to music, even mommy's singing. What did we ever do without her.

Brayden thought that dressing up in his favorite bunny suit would impress all of the ladies in the neighborhood.
