So I am so far behind on blogging it is hard to know where to begin. So I'll just share some of the things we have done in the last couple of months and I know everyone is just dying to see cute pictures right. That's about all I blog anyway. So back in September we were able to fly out to Connecticut to visit family. Thanks guys for showing us around and letting us see some of those great sights. At the time I was just glad to say I had been there, now there is so much I wish I could have seen and done so I guess we'll just have to go again. We really did have a good time despite my hatred of flying. The trip there was just fine with Lindsey but was she ever a bear on the way home. There is nothing like being pregnant and trapped in the tiny space of an airline seat against the window and having a toddler crawl all over you. First she spilled my cold glass of free soda all over my lap and of course I couldn't move so just had to sit in the cold wetness then about 30 minutes later she was laying across Sterling and I and peed and for some reason it all came out the back of her diaper which was over my lap, so I was wet again, but this time warm and smelly. Lots and lots of fun. She slept all of about 45 minutes of the six hours of flight time. Thank goodness we had such dear friends take care of Hailey and Brayden while we were gone although we really wished we could have taken them. But like I said it was a great trip and we were able to see New York City, Boston and the beautiful country side of Connecticut as well as witness the blessing of Nate and meet new little Jenika. Here are a few pictures from the trip
On the flight out of course because I am still smiling
At the Staten Island Ferry
Time Square
Central Park. It was so beautiful right there in the middle of that large concrete city. We also went to the Temple that was just a block away. The missionaries gave us a great map and I then became the obsessed travel guide looking at my map every two minutes, but hey I got us around.
This just amazed me, we drove under like six of these large apartment buildings all in a row. It seemed like an awful lot of building to be driving under. I don't know which came first the road or the building.
We went to a Yankee's game. It was one of the last games to be played in the stadium. Lindsey ate a whole hot dog by herself which cost way too much for a hot dog, but she insisted. We sat in the bleachers and I enjoyed hearing those great accents from the fans around us.
We looked around at a car show for awhile. Sterling had fun sitting in this fancy Porche.
This was along the river right across the street from the twin towers site. That was a pretty humbling experience. It is still hard to believe what happened there. Two sleepy babies. Lindsey and Mackenzie were real troopers walking all over New York. There weren't very many babies in the city. We rode the subway a lot and Lindsey was fine until the ride to the game. It just kept getting more and more crowded. New Yorkers just assume there is more room and keep smashing in. I was getting a little panicked myself. It was also rush hour so it was pretty crazy.
Three cute brothers.
Boston. Our trip to Boston was short, but what a beautiful city. It is so neat to see those old historical buildings blended in with the new modern ones. What a heritage we have for this great nation. I hope we can keep that in mind as we continue to move onward and at times I fear away from that.
Cute cousins hanging out.
Sitting by the pretty flowers. I am loving Annalyns grumpy face.
All the siblings. What a crazy bunch of kids.
When I went in to check on Brayden the night after we got home he was sleeping in the hat we brought him back from New York. What a cute kid. It's good to be home.

We are so glad you came and had fun! Sorry I haven't looked at your blog forever! I love the pictures and am glad to hear that you will hopefully come back. Next time we'll let you stay in the house with us. :) I didn't even realize that you went to a car show while you were here. Too much fun to be squished into such a short trip, but it looks like somehow you managed.
